“Broken Break” Food Closet:
It is ecumenical outreach to our neighbors in need at Christ Episcopal Church. (222 Clinton St, Delaware City, DE 19706 Phone: (302) 834-3328)
Our church runs the food closet on 2nd and 4th Monday, 6:30-7:30 PM. We are looking for volunteers and unperishable food donations.

Christmas At Sea
“Christmas At Sea”, a program of Seamen’s Center of Wilmington Port of Wilmington, Delaware is our long-time outreach ministry. The goal of the Christmas At Sea Program is to give a Ditty Box, a shoe box filled with gifts, to every seafarer arriving in Delaware during the month of December. Last year the Seamen’s Center provided gifts to over 1,200 mariners. The boxes are filled with essentials like tooth pastor, razors, soap, and a hand knit hat, and scarf and a few goodies. We encourage you to participate by filling a box or simply by donating some of the items listed below.

Cough Drops Candy/Gum
Sewing Kit Hand Lotion
Soap Pens/ Stationery
Warm Stocks Winter Gloves
SCW Volunteers begin delivering the boxes on December 1 st . It would be helpful to have contributions prior to that date.
